Darin has worked as a cinematographer making feature films for over 20 years. He studied photography and cinematography at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
As an operator he has had the privilege of collaborating with a wide spectrum of filmmakers over the years including Michael Mann, Terrence Malick, Emmanuel Lubezki, Dion Beebe, Tony Scott and Francis Lawrence. He has won a Cinematographer’s Guild Showcase Award of excellence for the short film Ola’s Box of Clovers, and was nominated for an Emmy Award for his collaborative camerawork with Dion Beebe on a special film for Tony Bennett.
Darin lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Christina and their two kids, Milo & Antigone.
